Cookies
What this site's two cookies are for.
Redcliff Row uses two small cookies, one for the age check and one for the banner you're reading right now, nothing more than that.
The two cookies
What each one actually does.
- You'll trigger `age18au40` the moment you pass the age check at the front of the site.
- You'll trigger `ckau40` the moment you dismiss this banner, keeping it from popping up on your next page.
- You won't be tracked by either cookie once you leave this website, and neither is shared with an advertiser.
- You can clear both at any time; the age check and banner will simply start over.
Nothing else tracked
That covers every cookie you'll find here.
You won't find an advertising network reading anything on this site, and no profile gets built of who's visiting or why.
You'll see this page updated first if that ever changes, with the banner asking again before anything new switches on.
Cookies, answered
Two questions you might have.
Can I switch the cookies off?
Yes — clear your browser at any time and the age check and banner will simply return.
Do the cookies identify me?
No, each one only stores a yes or no, nothing that points back to who you are.
